I just finished a morning reckon trip gathering the shoreline for the central basin of Pavilion Lake so that the AUV team of Jonathan and Stephanie can plan a shoreline hugging surface mission to gather very shallow data. While the team is planning the mission I decided to check in on the action aboard the E/V Nautilus especially as our very own Nicole Raineault is aboard as a navigator. I had to smile and pinch myself that I can follow the mission action aboard the Nautilus from this remote mountain lake. Thanks to telepresence it is all possible and while we are here working on space exploration analogues the Nautilus team is conducting inner space exploration. How marvelous!
