Now I've managed to do the delicate removal of the optical drive and installation of the SSD drive. Time to button the laptop backup and see how it likes the new drive. The torque t-6 screws on some of the optical drive fasteners were a pain to remove (even with the correct driver) but the owc kit uses just plain philips.
Next the moment of truth...
